Create/Release a Group of SpeciesAliases

You can create a group of SpeciesAliases. You can move, resize and erase the group of SpeciesAliases.

To create a group

  1. Select the SpeciesAliases you want to treat as a group.
  2. In the Menu, select Edit - Create Group, or press [Ctrl] + G key.

Once you create a group of SpeciesAliases, all the operations will affect the whole group.
Moving the position, altering the size, or deletion will be handled as a group.
When you move the position, the whole group of SpeciesAliases will be moved maintaining their relative positions.
When you delete a group, all the SpeciesAliases will be deleted.

When you try to select one of the SpeciesAliases in a group, the whole group will be selected.

Neither the position nor the size of a SpeciesAlias in a group cannot be altered individually. You cannot delete an individual SpeciesAlias from a group.

The Reactions that connect the SpeciesAliases in a group are, logically, not included in a group. However, the reactions will also be affected by the group operation, as their logical configurations are specified by the SpeciesAliases.

To release a group

  1. Select a group.
  2. In the Menu, select Edit - Release Group, or press [Ctrl] + G key.
